Ele também auxilia alunos, professores e funcionários com questões envolvendo bullying e ameaças, questões familiares que podem afetar a vida escolar de uma criança, e agir como ligações entre a Escola Primária de Tisbury e a Escola Regional de Martha's Vineyard.

Os oficiais também conhecerão muito bem um bairro específico para que eles notem facilmente coisas que estão fora do lugar. Level 1 Where the Sex Offender Registry Board determines that the risk of re-offense by an offender is low and the degree of dangerousness posed to the public by that offender is not such that a public safety interest is served by public availability, the Board shall give that offender a Level 1 designation. Information on Level 1 offenders will not be available to the public. Neither the police nor the Board have authority to disseminate information to the general public identifying a Level 1 offender. Information identifying Level 1 offenders may only be given to the Department of Correction, any county correctional facility, the Department of Youth Services, the Department of Social Services, the parole Board, the Department of Probation and the Department of Mental Health, all city and town police departments and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for law enforcement purposes. SEX OFFENDER CLASSIFICATIONS Level 2 Where the Board determines that the risk of re-offense is moderate and the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a public safety interest is served by public availability of registration information, it shall give a Level 2 designation to the sex offender. The public shall have access to the information regarding a Level 2 offender through the Local Police Department and through the Sex Offender Registry Board. SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY BOARD Level 3 Where the Board determines that the risk of re-offense is high and the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a substantial public safety interest is served by active dissemination, it shall give a Level 3 designation to the sex offender. Relief Association da Polícia de Tisbury A Tisbury Relief Association é um fundo dedicado a retribuir à comunidade. A Associação concede bolsas de estudo para idosos graduados, residentes que precisam de ajuda com contas médicas e muitas outras causas que ajudam essa nossa grande comunidade. Os rendimentos deste torneio de mini-golfe serão destinados a esse fundo para estar disponível para tais causas. Agradeço antecipadamente. Todos os oficiais auxiliares também conhecidos como Oficiais Especiais no Departamento de Polícia de Tisbury são oficiais de polícia certificados que completaram a Academia da Reserva Básica através do MPTC. No Departamento, eles trabalham para complementar os oficiais regulares e em tempo integral com o desempenho de suas funções na manutenção da lei e da ordem. Eles estão sob supervisão direta do supervisor de turno e da supervisão geral de oficiais seniores em tempo integral e são encarregados de várias formas de patrulha: patrulha a pé, patrulha com aviaturas e fiscalização de estacionamento. Oficiais especiais são empregados durante todo o ano, mas são mais utilizados durante os meses de verão.
