Level 1 Where the Sex Offender Registry Board determines that the risk of re-offense by an offender is low and the degree of dangerousness posed to the public by that offender is not such that a public safety interest is served by public availability, the Board shall give that offender a Level 1 designation. Information on Level 1 offenders will not be available to the public. Neither the police nor the Board have authority to disseminate information to the general public identifying a Level 1 offender. Information identifying Level 1 offenders may only be given to the Department of Correction, any county correctional facility, the Department of Youth Services, the Department of Social Services, the parole Board, the Department of Probation and the Department of Mental Health, all city and town police departments and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for law enforcement purposes. SEX OFFENDER CLASSIFICATIONS Level 2 Where the Board determines that the risk of re-offense is moderate and the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a public safety interest is served by public availability of registration information, it shall give a Level 2 designation to the sex offender. The public shall have access to the information regarding a Level 2 offender through the Local Police Department and through the Sex Offender Registry Board. SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY BOARD Level 3 Where the Board determines that the risk of re-offense is high and the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a substantial public safety interest is served by active dissemination, it shall give a Level 3 designation to the sex offender. O Park and Ride é uma área de estacionamento de trânsito convenientemente localizada em High Point Lane em Tisbury, MA. High Point Lane pode ser acessado viajando pela Estrada Estadual e fazendo uma curva à esquerda depois do Mercado Cronigs. O estacionamento park and ride é estacionamento gratuito a curto prazo. Os passageiros podem estacionar no lote por até 4 dias consecutivos sem multa. Os passes de estacionamento de longo prazo podem ser comprados na Prefeitura de Tisbury durante o horário comercial normal. O estacionamento é executado em conjunto com a Vineyard Transit Authority, que executa um ônibus de transporte contínuo entre o Park and ride e o terminal Vineyard Haven Steamship Authority. Esse processo considera as informações fornecidas: Por relatórios e investigações feitas pelo oficiais de policia Declarações das vítimas Declarações de testemunhas Esse processo garante que o tempo não seja desperdiçado nos casos em que não há probabilidade de fechamento e permite esforços mais concentrados e detalhados nos casos em que o caso pode ser resolvido. Os casos podem variar de assassinato a telefonemas irritantes. As agressões sexuais relatadas são investigadas, assim como os casos de abuso físico e sexual infantil. Um detetive está disponível para responder a: Furtos com grande propriedade perdida Arrombamentos residenciais e comerciais para coletar impressões digitais e outras evidências Assaltos Mortes súbitas, inexplicáveis ou não atendidas Outros eventos, conforme necessário O detetive lida com muitos casos considerados informativos, onde o caso é considerado esclarecido (o autor foi identificado) e a vítima é contatada, aconselhando-os sobre os cursos de ação abertos a eles.
